Green Aura

Pauper deck by SBR
20 Forest
4 Gladecover Scout
4 Silhana Ledgewalker
4 Slippery Bogle
4 Ancestral Mask
4 Armor of Thorns
4 Briar Shield
4 Oakenform
4 Petrified Plating
4 Rancor
4 Treetop Bracers

I updated the Top Deck Averages script to basically run in reverse. Instead of finding the most popular decks it finds the least popular. I call it the Rogue Finder. It returns a bunch of decks that had only a few showings. Most of them are variations of common decks, but I browse through the results to find something that is actually different, and this one certainly is.

Keep in mind that, that player who built this deck, only known as SBR, had to 3-1 or better in a Pauper Daily event. They don't give prizes for originality either. You can see who he was up against here. It was the usual suspects: Affinity, Goblins, MUC, Storm. It's one thing to build a rogue deck but quite another to win against the best decks in the format (even if it was one event).

This deck is pretty bizarre. Twelve hexproof creatures and a whopping 28 auras. Don't you get chump blocked? That's what Treetop Bracers and Rancor are for, not to mention the evasion built in to the Ledgewalker. If I was going to play this I'd probably cut some auras, but what do I know.

I've said it before, but going 3-1 in a Daily with a rogue deck is truly an accomplishment for a deck builder. One day I'm going to give it shot. Can you do it? If you do be sure to send me an email or leave a comment with the event id. I'll look it up and potentially feature your deck in a future post. Good luck!
