To put together the Top Deck Averages I have to sort through a lot of decks. I have an archive of decks that placed 3-1 or better in an online Daily Event and I wanted to find some unique builds. I have a "rogue finder" script that works pretty well, but I tried a different approach today. I just filtered out decks that contained certain cards. I started with about 3000 decks and filtered it down to 196 by excluding any deck that ran any of the following cards: Grapeshot, Cloudpost, Cloud of Faeries, Groundswell, Goblin Sledder, Empty the Warrens, Disciple of the Vault, Crypt Rats, Delver of Secrets, Frogmite, Icatian Javelineers, Mystical Teachings, and Corrupt.
I browsed through the remaining decks and towards the top I found this red-green deck by Lundstrom. Another search revealed this is the only deck out of my collection of 3000 that played Granger Guildmage. I also really like the Horned Kavu, but I think I'd run a few more copies. This deck looks prepared to deal with one toughness creatures, and with all the blue in the format those islandwalking snakes are sure to come in handy.
