Birds of Paradise MTG is written and maintained by Ben Stone, a trading card game writer and enthusiast. Ben covers news and analysis across the TCG space, from set releases to market movements, and bopmtg.net is his home for Magic: The Gathering, the game that started it all for most of us.

The site is a revival of the classic bopmtg Magic blog, now under new stewardship. It focuses on:

• Strategy fundamentals that stay true across formats and metagames
• Deckbuilding math: mana bases, land counts, and the probabilities behind them
• Format guides, deck analysis, and news that matters to Magic players

The classic mana tables are already back, recomputed from scratch. Over time the site's signature feature, the weekly top deck averages, will return in a modern form.
